Children on Sundays

At Bridge Community Church, we want children to feel welcomed, safe and excited to grow in their faith.

Our children’s groups run during our 9:30am and 11:30am services for children from age 2 through to school Year 6. Each session includes a mixture of fun, games, Bible teaching, worship, small group discussion and opportunities to build friendships.

At our 4pm service, we currently offer a group for primary-aged children. Children stay with their parents or carers for the first part of the service before going out to their group.

Additional Needs

We also offer Relax, a group for children and young people with additional needs, on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of the month. If your child would benefit from extra support, please get in touch before visiting so we can help you prepare well.

What to Expect When You Arrive

Registration for children opens 15 minutes before the 9:30am and 11:30am services. Spaces can be limited depending on room capacity and team ratios, so we recommend arriving early.

When you arrive, please look out for the coloured flags, which will help direct you to the right group for your child. If you are unsure where to go, just ask a member of our Welcome Team, who will be happy to help.

All children need to be registered with up-to-date details, including medical information, allergies and dietary needs.

Safeguarding

The safety and wellbeing of children is very important to us. All our children’s team members are DBS checked and receive regular safeguarding and code of conduct training.

Midweek and Special Events

Alongside our Sunday groups, we also run discipleship sessions, Messy Church, film nights and other family events throughout the year.
