Steve is the Senior Pastor here at BCC. Steve worked in engineering for 10 years before joining the church staff as our Youth worker back in 1986. In 1996 he became Associate Pastor, before taking on the role of Senior Pastor in 2010. Steve is married to Karen, and they have 2 grown-up children. 

Bawa joined our pastoral team in 2021 and leads our Small Group network. Bawa has been a missionary for many years in many different countries. He previously held the role of head of mobilisation for WEC UK, before being called to serve as a pastor here in Leeds. He is married to Afy and they have 2 grown-up children.

Jacqui is part of our pastoral team, with a particular focus on women’s ministries. Before stepping into full-time ministry, she spent 12 years as a teacher in Sheffield. She later responded to a call to ministry and became Children’s Director at Elim Church Northampton. Jacqui was ordained as an Elim minister in 2023 and subsequently joined the team at BCC. She is married to Leigh, who is also an ordained minister and serves as our Head of Operations. Together, they have a daughter, Beth.
