We meet together every Sunday morning at 9.15am and 11.15am, as well as having many Small Groups which meet throughout the week. Our services are lively times of worship, teaching from the bible, prayer and being together as family. There is a youth service during the 11.15am service, and activities for children aged 4-11 years old during both the 9.15am and 11.15am services. There is also a designated room for children aged 0-3 years with their parents
We have over 30 Small Groups which meet both at Church and in people’s homes around the city. These groups cater for a wide variety of people and common interests; some meeting for prayer or bible study others meeting by nationality as well as men’s and women’s groups. Details can be obtained by sending an email to the church office.
Domaine is a dedicated space for young people looking for community, fun and growth. We have a range of meetings all designed to meet you were you are at. Whether you have never been to church before or you have been a part of the church your whole life, we welcome you. At the heart of what we do is the aim to support teenagers and young adults with the pressures associated with the transition into adulthood. We want to encourage a personal connection with Jesus, and empower young people to be a positive influence in their schools, colleges, universities, homes and friendship groups.
Not only do we run a range of meetings, but we have a thriving events and activities schedule. Whether that be BBQ's, taking ourselves for a hike in the Dales, all the way to overseas missions and surfing weeks away to Newquay.
The current meetings we run are
Sunday - 11:15-13:00
We have a live band, organised and led by our young people, providing our worship every Sunday. We play games and engage in a range of fun activities; however, the core of our aims on a Sunday morning is to teach young people how to lead a more Biblically grounded life. We encourage people to get to know more of who Jesus is and hope that they allow Him into their daily lives.
Friday Domaine -
19:00 - 21:00
Friday Domaine really is the place to be. The friendships that are built here last for a lifetime. We meet together for lots of fun and games, whilst also really digging deep into our faith. The meeting allows you to be a bigger part of the church outside of a Sunday morning. We have a tuck shop, pool table, table tennis, and our most popular game by far... UNO.
Young Adult Cafe Sunday -
18:00 - till late
The young adult cafe is aimed at young adults who are looking for a place to relax and chill out with friends on a Sunday evening. We have a coffee shop that sells a range of hot and cold food and drinks. If you are 17+ and looking to make new friends and enjoy a good brew then this is the place for you. We try and run different activities like Take-away nights, Quiz nights, BBQ's and hopefully lots more in the future.
You are welcome to join us for any and all of these meetings. If you would like more information please contact our Youth Leader Ashley Russell on Ashley.Russell@bccleeds.org
Our children's work includes our Sunday Morning Children’s Ministry, Splashtime (our parents and tots group which runs Monday to Friday), an age 7-11 years group that meets on the last Friday of each month, and various special events including Messy Church, Family film nights and Family picnics.
Please read on for more information about the exciting things our Children’s Department offers.
Bridge Community Church Children’s Ministry is known as Junction 2: 52, based on Luke 2:52, “And Jesus grew in wisdom, stature, favour with God and favour with man.” Our aim is that all children, through their childhood, will learn to love God, love others, love life and to go, grow and glorify God; fulfilling the purposes He has for their lives. Our 2-year Bible based curriculum is being written specifically for our children with very practical applications which we encourage the children to do each week. The Children’s Ministry is at 9:15am and 11:15am on Sunday mornings, and is staffed by a team of workers who are DBS checked and undergo regular training. The 9:15am service has Little Learners for 0-3 years olds, where parents stay with their children and watch the service on the screen. Remix is for 4-11 year olds, with differentiated teaching for KS1 & KS2 children
The 11.15am service has 5 departments:
Little learners - 0-2 years
Refresh - 3-5 years
Refuel - Years 1 & 2
Reboot - Years 3 & 4
Recharge - Years 5 & 6
We are inclusive of all children, as Jesus said “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them”; but, for everyone’s safety, discussions with and extra support from parents where Special Encouragement is Needed is required before they can join us.
Our Children’s choir is very popular and rehearses monthly, with opportunities for performing at different times of year.
BCC runs an Out of School club each weekday evening from 3-6pm and a play scheme during the holidays.
Splashtime is our parent/ carer and baby/ toddler group for all children 0-4 years which runs during term time only. It is held at our fantastic facility, with 2 large rooms full of toys and a purpose built outside play area. It is a brilliant opportunity to meet new families, make new friends, and have lots of fun with your child.
Sessions run 10.30am – 12.30pm Monday to Friday, with an additional session on Tuesday afternoons, 1pm – 2.30pm. Morning sessions cost £2 for a family of 3 and Tuesday afternoons cost £1.50 (an additional 50p can be paid at all sessions for any additional persons attending). If the sessions are full waiting lists will apply. We hope to see you soon!
